10:26 AM: Apparently I didn't do my due dilligence; Safari's been supporting .webp for at least a year or so now, so my intimidating picture galleries are gonna get minimally faster loading times, ehehe. I updated the sketchbook page and some of the mid-2010s illustrations, and already I'm seeing results! I figure after I can replace all the .png files with .webp instead, I can upload the rest of my backlog. Then I can start using this as a more 'current event' log.
2024, May 5th:
10:32 AM: A lot has happened, yet not much has changed, if that makes sense. No longer a prospective drummer, I am nevertheless still committed to school (in fact, my license exam is in a few days...). Also, I moved. It was pain! I lost a SHITLOAD of art along the way, too. Unfortunately, it was exactly the stuff I haven't been able to upload: my large watercolor and oil paintings >_< S/O to my partner's family for somehow finding the senior year work I left at my high school!
In other news, I have been doing more and more solo music. There's no pressure to really address any audience; nobody responds here anyways, so I have no shame in dropping a link to some real down and dirty stuff! I settled on a new alias for my electronic work (Neurothoth! You heard it here first, fools!), which I'll upload a link to soon, and recording has officially started for my... wordier stuff. I don't want to make a social media account for it, but in the words of those eternally among us: it's what it's.
DON'T stay tuned, do create more! I'll try not to take half a year to update :P
2023, November 15th:
4:54 PM: Medical school update: I am super, duper tired. Between celebrating birthdays, wrapping up my school with an externship in a week or two (in fact, they emailed me during this update @_@), and attending the weekly band meetup, there has been SO MUCH preventing me from concentrating on this lil corner of mine on the net.
So what has happened?
I made a song for a person I know IRL, that was fun! For various reasons, I haven't shared my music publically, although I am stoked to say that it'll change soon! Hopefully I can start pushing everything out on some streaming platforms by year's end, yadda yadda - until then, I have a public MEGA link if you fancy DnB (NOT breakcore!). Also, no, the original song they made is not public, although it does exist in a locked down Ableton Live project file somewhere... Anyways, Listen to the Class Time Remix here!
Our (me + 3 other guys) band, Exposed has finally dropped our first EP! I mean, I don't play on it, but we'll be playing live soon, damn it! If you like a bit of hardcore, take a look. We're also on Apple Music!
Once externship hits, I'll be able to settle into a less chaotic schedule that's not beholden to homework, and I can finally scan the rest of my work (and finish setting up the archive). Stay Tuned!
2023, August 3rd:
9:22 AM: Hitting everyone with the medical school update, I've been real busy dealing with some real crazy shit, but no more: new art is underway VERY soon (I can't forget my boy Pomps!), and old art is staying in tune. In addition, I finally got down to brass tacks and am now implementing an archive page for these updates! If you see July's entires below this one, that means I'm still working on the archive page.
2023, July 29th:
3:20 AM: STOP THE DAMN PRESSES. STOP- SHUT EM OFF MAN! While looking for the link to show y'all said fanart, I managed to find my old tumblr. Turns out I didn't delete it after all! But still, OG internet era comes first. Then we'll get into the tumblr business.
2:36 AM: So I meant to post yesterday, but reality said otherwise :T Anyways, I have a sketch for my latest piece, and I think I might start keeping around my sketches for all the neat, finished stuff that'll find its way on social media (Instagram). I'm also starting to post my truly ancient art on the illustrations page, back when I only posted on deviantArt (and later tumblr, although I cleared that page due to personal reasons - which means everything bar one piece of fanart was saved. Ouch).
2023, July 27th:
As much as I'd love fleshing this page out more, I oughta start making new art for the website! Oh, and Instagram. Update tomorrow!
10 PM update: True to my word, I've got all the HCS-era pictures up! Also, peep the new favicon up there on your tab, pretty spiffy eh?
7 AM update: I started work on the illustrations page! As school continues today I'll slowly upload the ground zero artwork that prompted me to make this damn site in the first place, years later!
It's 1:10 AM, but I'm still on top of things over here. Went through most of the sketchbooks and I decided to upload the OG Sketchbook's drawings every now and again, because that thing is 1) fragile, and 2) got signatures I'd rather not reveal out on the 'net. I've decided to keep uploading my artwork - get everything scannable archived and truly put away. Crazy to think that it's Thursday now!
Updated my About page with my only real social media link - it's Instagram. When I do any traditional art nowadays, it tends to go there first.
2023, July 25th:
I've finally began uploading! Holy fuck dude! Finding my old art was a pain - I had a lot of my recent (2019-now) work scanned, but my former PC's HDD fucking died a few days ago by repeat blackouts while it was unknowingly plugged in (albeit off). Windows' critical files were so fucked I couldn't fresh install, and it still upsets me because all of my scans, even stuff that only then existed in scan form, wiped out of existence. Double-dead, just like that. And the digital art - oh man that's gonna be real, real fun to hunt down via Discord, Twitter, and maybe deviantArt if that really old crap is even extant - I know my tumblr stuff been done bit the dust.
In other news, maybe by next Monday, I can start uploading my music on here. However, I have so much fucking art that I'll still be playing catch-up on here by then. Anyways, my music'll have to be hosted on Mega (the Hard Drive Incident of '23 being a direct result of me using that service tbh), but that'll be a real hoot, because I have everything I've made on my current PC safely, and I've been infinitely more reticint on showing that than the art to others - until now!
2023, July 22nd:
Hello Neocities, holy shit this is a lil throwback
I plan on dumping my old artwork on here as a start, and eventually develop an archive of all my old work over several years - with new additions to come in due time, of course.
